Keelan spurns Sky for new BBC job

Liam Keelan, currently Controller of BBC Daytime is now joining BBC Worldwide in a newly created position as Global Editorial Director. Keelan was appointed the new director of Sky1 in December, but has decided not to take up role
Keelan will be responsible for developing a strong editorial and creative vision for BBC Worldwide across its entire global channels and branded services portfolio.
Keelan will oversee the editorial direction of BBC Knowledge, BBC Entertainment, CBeebies and BBC Lifestyle and shape the editorial vision for new channel brands.
