Canal Digital and SBS new Nordic deal

Canal Digital and SBS Broadcasting Networks have signed a new three-year contract giving Canal Digital continued exclusive rights to SBS’s satellite TV channels in the Nordic countries.
“SBS’s channels give our customers in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland access to a varied menu of excellent content. Canal Digital satellite TV and SBS have enjoyed a long and fruitful partnership, which will now be continued. This provides a stabile framework for both parties,” says Patrik Hofbauer, CEO of Canal Digital AS.
In addition to the linear TV channels, SBS’s content can be made available on Canal Digital GO, online and via a set top box as play and archive services. These offerings will vary in the four different Nordic markets.
