New PlayStation store goes live in UK
October 22, 2012
The new PlayStation Store has gone live in the UK, after initial “teething problems” meant last week’s roll-out was stalled in Europe.
The store – which offers games, movies and TV shows to rent or buy – is now more visually-oriented and carousel-based to make it quicker and easier to browse. The UI makes use of the entire screen to show a broader range of content, and will effectively scale down for standard definition TV sets.
The store is also currently available in Australia, UAE, India, Israel, South Africa, and will launch in the US later this month.
