FremantleMedia UK Interactive has relaunched the digital offering for The X-Factor including online video and its first dedicated iPad app.
The website has been overhauled to put increased emphasis on the video content that proves most popular with users. Higher quality footage will also be streamed to improve the experience.
Unseen auditions, performances from contestants and scripted content including montages, highlights packages and hopeful’s “music videos”, will be among the video that features throughout the ninth series. Content will also be distributed via The X-Factor’s YouTube profile, which has 500,000 subscribers.
