NDS for Teleclub
June 11, 2012
NDS is supporting Teleclub, a pay-TV operator in Switzerland, in the expansion of their platform to enable additional functionality and extended hardware choice.
Teleclub are expanding choice for their subscribers through the introduction of Common Interface Plus (CI+) modules based on the NDS VideoGuard conditional access (CA) system, and HD DVR functionality with the addition of an approved external hard drive.
CI+ allows consumer electronics manufacturers to launch a wide range of devices, such as integrated digital TV-sets and set-top boxes that can easily and securely provide access to Teleclub content through plug-in CI+ modules. The recently launched modules enable access to all Teleclub programming including HD channels. The modules are being supplied in cooperation with select device manufacturers.
