Sky Brazil, owned by DirecTV, has just added A&E Network’s Biography Channel in HD to its line up, taking the DTH operator to 42 HD channels, and “the greatest number and variety in HD in Latin America” said the company.
The Biography Channel has been on air in standard def since 2007 and is available to more than 17 million homes including cable and satellite.
DirecTV hints that it expects its HD channel line-up to grow by another 6 over the next few months, and with more to come before year-end.
