Technicolor launches MediaEcho app
November 9, 2011
Technicolor has confirmed the launch of MediaEcho, an application that synchronises secondary content with Blu-ray, VoD or broadcast programming.
MediaEcho synchronises a wealth of content such as cast, crew and production information, historical facts, audio and video onto a tablet device that allows viewers to deepen their engagement with the programme without cluttering the main screen. The app can also enable integration of social media, allowing users to post comments, share content and connect during their viewing experience. MediaEcho also enables e-commerce within the app, allowing fans to purchase items related to the programme right from their tablet.
This app is compatible with both Apple and Android tablet platforms, and will work with any type of content (film, TV, sports).
