Paramount content for LOVEFiLM Germany
October 27, 2011
Paramount Pictures has inked a multi-year content deal for Germany with LOVEFiLM, Europe’s leading online entertainment subscription service.
The agreement provides LOVEFiLM subscribers in Germany exclusive streaming access to Paramount titles during the first subscription TV window beginning this autumn.
The deal gives LOVEFiLM members in Germany access to Paramount’s upcoming titles before any other pay TV provider in the territory, including such films as the Coen Brothers’ “True Grit,” and J.J. Abrams’ “Super 8”.
Subscribers will be able to instantly stream all of Paramount’s new and future releases via the LOVEFiLM Player, either on PC, via in-home connected living room devices or on PlayStation3. Later this year, German members will also be able to watch films instantly through the Xbox 360.
