Virgin Media launches TiVo Android app
July 13, 2011
Virgin Media has released its own-brand TiVo app for Android, allowing its customers to remotely record their favourite shows on the go.
The Virgin Media TV Guide app is available as a free download to Virgin Media customers via the Android Marketplace.
As well as the ability to control which shows the user’s home system records, the app also house seven-days of scheduled programme information – meaning that users will be able to plan up to a week’s worth of viewing via their smartphone. The app will also allow users to create lists of their favourite channels.
