TeliaSonera subs up

TeliaSonera has reported it had 823,000 customers for its pay-TV services across all markets by the end of the first quarter of 2010, up 135,000 during the period, with 633,000 of the total being IPTV subscribers.
Nearly 27 per cent of its broadband base across all markets now subscribe to its IPTV services, available in Sweden, Finland, Estonia and Lithuania. The telco had reached 411,000 subscribers for its IPTV services in Sweden by the end of the first quarter of this year, adding 15,000 customers in the three month period. Its Finnish IPTV service was launched just last month.
Net sales across all operations for the first quarter reached SEK26.09 billion, down 3.9 per cent year-on-year, while net profits rose 6.4 per cent to reach SEK 4.722 billion.
