Bake-Off for Mexico, Bulgaria

BBC Worldwide has announced new format sales ahead of MIPCOM next month. The Great Bake Off format was sold to NOVA in Bulgaria, while in Mexico it was licensed to the second largest national broadcaster, TV Azteca, making it the first sale of the format to a Spanish speaking country on FTA TV.
The Love Productions format has now been licensed to 23 countries, including Australia, France, Poland, South Africa, Brazil and Thailand.
“Bake Off has proved an international hit for BBC Worldwide and continues to win new fans in every corner of the globe,” commented Suzanne Kendrick, Head of Global Format Sales at BBC Worldwide.
