Vodafone Italia has partnered with Italy-based TVoD platform Chili to provide the Chili app on Vodafone TV set-top boxes.
From this autumn, Vodafone TV customers will be able to purchase movies and pay for them, directly on their phone bill. In addition, they will benefit from monthly promotions on both Italian and international movie titles.
The video streaming platform is also available on Smart TVs, Blu-Ray players, PCs, tablets and smartphones.
Chili offers around 8,000 movies on-demand, including many premieres, and does not require the payment of any subscription or a monthly fee, with customers paying only the cost of titles they purchase.
In June, Vodafone Italia signed an agreement with Discovery Italia for the distribution of its linear channels.
