Millions secretly stream sport at work
July 1, 2015
Nearly half of British sports fans have put their work to one side and tuned into live sport on their portable screens according to research commissioned by Sky’s NOW TV.
The research also reveals that over a quarter (27 per cent) admit to watching sport in secret: booking covert meeting rooms to keep up with the latest score, using their second screens for streaming and most disturbingly taking slightly longer in the bathroom.
NOW TV will help fans to make the most of their secret viewing, offering UK sports fans a free Sky Sports Day Pass to keep up with the first day of the Ashes.
Gidon Katz, Director of NOW TV, commented: “We know premium live sport is one of the main reasons that our customers choose NOW TV. I’m bowled over that we’re able to give sport fans the chance to watch day one of the first Ashes Test for free. I am sure there will be plenty of people joining me in secretly tuning in at work!”
