Orange’s video streaming platform Dailymotion has announced the launch of Dailymotion Games, a new live-streaming platform dedicated to gaming.
The website, games.dailymotion.com, offers the gaming and electronic sports community a custom-built environment for viewing, sharing, uploading and streaming personal gaming and gaming competitions.
The company says it is a “move into a strong sector”. Gaming content on the platform currently generates more than 180 million video views per month and attracts more than 11 million unique visitors per month globally.
Key partners include noted gaming and esport brands like Eclypsia, Millennium, joinDOTA, OnGameNet, IGN, Gamespot or Gamekult.
“Dailymotion Games is entirely dedicated to eSports fans and streamers who come together every evening to form an amazingly talented and gregarious community. Over the coming months, we will significantly increase our investment in the eSport domain” to said Martin Rogard, Dailymotion’s chief operating officer.
Dailymotion Games apps are also available for download on smartphones, tablets (iOS and Android) and PS4.
