Landscape Channel starts in Baltics
May 28, 2014
Landscape Channel starts broadcasting on HD basic at Init Cable in Lithuania this month through Landscape’s Baltic representative Wide Media. Init is the first cable system in the Baltics to start Landscape Channel distribution using Landscape’s unique 1080p mini server.
Landscape’s Chairman, Nick Austin says “We have known for a long time that people in the Baltics and former Russian states love Landscape because we can see they are top of the YouTube stats. The Baltics are a part of the world where there is a deep appreciation of classical music and the beauty of nature. I am sure that we will do well now that the technology allows us to distribute without the need for a satellite and Wide Media are leading the way for us.”
