Telecom Italia airs World Cup on mobile devices
May 14, 2014
TIMvision, Telecom Italia’s on-demand TV, will broadcast the 2014 FIFA World Cup on smartphones and tablets.
The initiative, which is part of the agreement signed last November by Telecom Italia and Sky, will allow TIM customers, whether or not they subscribe to the satellite platform, to watch all 64 matches of the World Cup on the move (56 live, eight in deferred mode).
Thanks to the agreement with Sky, Telecom Italia has already made available on the move the Winter Olympics in Sochi and the Formula 1 World Championship.
