Mediaset to outbid Telefonica’s Prisa TV offer?

Mediaset could yet match or exceed the €725 miliion offer Telefonica made last week for Prisa’s pay-TV division, according to Italian reports.
Mediaset is said to have an option with Prisa to match the bid of any buyer. A second option would allow Mediaset to increase its stake to 50 per cent and create a joint venture with Telefonica.
