Telekom Slovenije deploys UEFA LiveEx
February 27, 2014
Telekom Slovenije’s OTT platform TViN has integrated UEFA LiveEx technology, providing sports fans with a unique football experience while following UEFA Champions League games.
“The UEFA LiveEx service gives football fans an upgraded UEFA Champions League experience and the TViN platform enables us to easily integrate the service on TV as well as on web and mobile, thus ensuring that our viewers never miss an important goal – no matter which Champions League game they are following,” said Mitja Lazar, Head of Internet and Multimedia Services Department at Telekom Slovenije.
With real-time on-screen notifications of goals, penalties, and red cards – even when other content is being viewed – this gives football fans following the game a unique perspective that encompasses all games being played. In addition to on-screen notifications, users can also set up SMS notifications, providing them with up-to-date reports complete with a video link on what’s happening on pitches around Europe, so they can catch up on the missed action.
