Technicolor extends DirecTV contract

Technicolor has confirmed the signing of a three-year contract extension to continue the development and offering of a range of HD STBs and home video services for DirecTV.
“Technicolor has consistently delivered the reliable, high quality products we need in order to remain at the forefront of the satellite television industry,” said Henry Derovanessian, senior vice president, Hardware Engineering for DirecTV. “We look forward to continuing our relationship and our leadership position as we enter new frontiers of innovation in the delivery of the best television viewing experience to our subscribers throughout the United States and Latin America.”
