Ghana approves digital TV plan

The Ghana government has signed off a $95 million plan to switch off its analogue TV transmissions and adopt digital TV.
Deputy Information Minister Murtala Mohammed. In a statement, said Ghana would abide by the ITU deadline of 2015 to end analogue transmissions, and that the government hopes to generate extra revenue by the sale of spectrum in order to fund the changeover for TV and radio.
