September 12, 2013
Paolo Agostinelli, VP of Partner Channels, PPV & VoD at Sky Italia, is set to take up the position of Chief Programming and Business Strategy Officer at Tata Sky.
Tata Sky, a joint venture between Indian conglomerate Tata Group and Star, is an Indian DTH platform owned by Twenty First Century Fox.
Agostinelli’s departure has led to an executive shuffle within the Sky Italia programming department: Luca Revelli will take charge of relations with third party channels in addition to his current position as head of digital activities & special projects whilst Giovanni Uboldi will be in charge of PPV and VoD.
