Nikoltchev appointed EAO Director

The European Audiovisual Observatory, part of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, has a new Director as of the 1st of July.
Dr. Susanne Nikoltchev, currently Head of the Observatory’s Department for Legal Information, was elected to the post of Executive Director by the Observatory’s Executive Council in its annual meeting.
Nikoltchev, an international media lawyer specialised in audiovisual legislation and member of the bars in Germany and Washington D.C., has headed the Observatory’s Legal Department since 1998.
