January 10, 2013
History HD has launched for the first time to audiences in Greece following a deal between A+E Networks UK, a joint venture between A+E Networks and BSkyB, and OTE TV, a pay TV service in Greece.
OTE TV is available across Greece via satellite and IPTV. The network provides its subscribers with more than 70 channels, and 17 HD channels, which will include History HD following the channel launch.
History first launched in Greece in September 2005 and is available in over 150 countries to over 300 million TV households.
