SES’s CEO Romain Bausch says SES is “confident of its legal position” in its dispute with Paris-based rival Eutelsat over 500 MHz of capacity at 28.5 degrees East.

Bausch added that the capacity, already standing by on Astra 2F, would come into use on October 4th next year. “We strongly disagree with Eutelsat’s position,” said Bausch, and in terms of revenue guidance for next year he said nothing changes, implying that SES is assuming that the 500 MHz of capacity is already priced into SES’s expectations for 2013.
