More Partridge for Sky Atlantic
August 13, 2012
Alan Partridge, Steve Coogan’s Norfolk DJ, is returning to Sky Atlanic for a new six-part series of Mid Morning Matters.
Coogan will star as Partridge in Mid Morning Matters 2 when it airs on Sky Atlantic next year.
The DJ’s one-off pilgrimage of his home county of Norfolk, which aired last month, is Sky Atlantic’s highest-rating original commission to date.
Naomi Gibney, the acting director of Sky Atlantic, said: “Alan Partridge has been a huge hit for Sky Atlantic, opening our Monday night comedy strand, and I’m delighted we can bring his talents exclusively to Sky customers.”
