TPSA DTH launch

Polish telco TPSA has finally launched its new DTH service. It comes as part of a package called neostrada tp z telewizja that includes internet access at speeds ranging from 512Kpbs to 2Mbps, along with telephony for those receiving it via ASDL. Subscribers are being offered 32 Polish and foreign TV channels, along with over 200 FTA services distributed by Eutelsat's Hot Bird. They can also subscribe to Orange Sport and a Canal+ package consisting of Canal+, Canal+ Film, Canal+ Sport and Canal+ Sport 2.
TPSA announced that its IPTV service had 57,000 subscribers as of September 30, 2008, that's 3,000 more than three months earlier.
