October 27, 2008
US broadcaster NBC has extended its subscription-on-demand movie service PictureBox with a matching offer for its television series – branded 'TVBox' – on UK digital terrestrial TV. An agreement with Top Up TV sees the debut of TVBox, which forms part of Top Up TV’s on-demand services.
TVBox offers current and library TV series from NBCU’s portfolio and is the first extension of PictureBox into TV series.
