TCLtv+ launches dedicated holiday channels; Tinsel Town premiere

November 25, 2025

TCLtv+, the North American streaming service from consumer electronics company TCL, has ushered in the season of lights with four dedicated holiday channels designed to bring holiday cheer to viewers everywhere. Holiday Movie Favorites by LifetimeSweet Escapes, Stingray Greatest Holiday Hits, and fan favourite TCL Holiday offer audiences a curated mix of seasonal favorites including cherished movies, holiday cooking and baking shows, festive music playlists, and new specials to add to viewers’ annual traditions. Beginning December 1st, the Merry Christmas category will expand with two additional channels: a FilmRise collection of classic Christmas films and a dedicated Hot Country Christmas channel from Stingray.

Highlighting the TCL holiday lineup is the streaming premiere of the new British film comedy Tinsel Town on December 15th, starring Kiefer Sutherland and Rebel Wilson. This heartwarming, family-friendly film follows a washed-up Hollywood action star who reluctantly joins a small English village’s Christmas pageant. Guided by a no-nonsense choreographer and a cast of lovable locals, he rediscovers the holiday spirit and a path to reconnect with his estranged daughter.

The premiere of Tinsel Town and the newly launched holiday channels follow recently introduced TCL Anime offerings, enhancing TCLtv+’s rapidly expanding catalog of more than 400 FAST channels. In addition to these FAST holiday collections, TCL will host curated holiday content in AVoD to include the brand new film title Tinsel Town.

“This holiday season, TCL is celebrating the spirit of family, friendship, and togetherness with a thoughtfully curated slate of special programming,” said Catherine Zhang, VP of Content Service & Partnership at TCL. “From new premieres to beloved classics, we’re making it easier for viewers to discover entertainment that resonates during this meaningful time of year.”
