Premier Sports expands international league football offering

August 20, 2025

Premier Sports has announced an expansion of its international football offering. Starting this season, subscribers can enjoy live coverage of the Dutch Eredivisie, Argentina’s Primera División, and Brazil’s Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. In total, Premier Sports will screen 800+ live football matches this season.

Each round, Premier Sports will broadcast two Eredivisie matches, showcasing the technical brilliance and attacking flair that have made Dutch football a breeding ground for world-class talent for many decades. From Ajax’s relentless pursuit of silverware to Feyenoord and PSV’s fierce rivalries, fans will witness the next generation of stars in action including Troy Parrott, Sem Steijn, Kenneth Taylor, Brian Brobbey plus the likes of John Heitinga and Robin van Persie now managing Ajax and Feyenoord respectively.

In South America, the drama intensifies with two matches per round from the Argentine Primera, including November’s Superclásico between Boca Juniors and River Plate—two of the most iconic clubs in world football. Their storied rivalry and passionate fanbases promise unforgettable moments through out the season.

Completing the trio is Brazil’s Série A, with two matches per round featuring the samba style that defines Brazilian football. Currently Cruzeiro and Palmeiras chase league leaders Flamengo at the halfway stage in the 2025 season. The Argentine Primera División and Brazil’s Campeonato Brasileiro Série A feature some of the most high-profile players in world football, including Neymar, Edinson Cavani, Ángel Di María, Jorginho, Ander Herrera, and Thiago Silva.

Premier Sports CEO, Richard Sweeney commented: “We’re proud to bring our customers even more football from every corner of the globe. From Scotland’s three major competitions to the best of European football, and all the way to Brazil and Argentina, Premier Sports now delivers over 800 live games every season.”

The sports broadcaster and streaming service recently announced its renewal of its deal with La Liga to screen live coverage of top-flight La Liga EA Sports for the next three seasons.
