January 19, 2012
Broadpeak, provider of content delivery networks (CDN) and video-on-demand (VoD) servers for cable, IPTV, and hybrid TV operators worldwide, has topped the European video-on-demand server software rankings in the latest Multimedia Research Group (MRG) IPTV Market Leaders Report. This report, covering the Autumn/Winter 2011 time period, gives Broadpeak its second successive number-one ranking among IPTV VoD server software vendors in Europe.
“With consumer demand for high-quality video over the Internet rising rapidly, Broadpeak is poised to build on the company’s continued success and develop a global profile in delivering market-leading VoD technologies to increasing numbers of service providers around the world,” said Broadpeak president and CEO, Jacques Le Mancq. “We are delighted to be recognized by MRG as the leading VoD server software vendor in Europe and leverage this ranking for even greater market share.”
