Argentina has again postponed the bidding process for the 220 new digital terrestrial channels it wants to create.   This is the third time that Argentina’s Federal Audiovisual Communication Service  (FAC) has postponed the process, and this time it is for 90 days.

Initially, the opening of bids was scheduled for last August, but was rescheduled for November, after presidential elections (which were held in October). A few weeks ago, the FAC postponed the process to November end, and this has now been further postponed some additional 90 days.

These latest delay stems from “different requests submitted regarding the scope of certain clauses of the bidding specifications,” according to the Clarín newspaper.
