Cairo-based satellite operator Nilesat has reported a modest increase in revenues of 2.1 per cent for the H1 2023 trading period. Nilesat serves the MENA region with digital TV transmissions and play-out services.

Its quarterly revenues, to June 30th, have stayed flat over the past year. The current period showed revenues of $25.61 million. The quarter to March 31st was $25.59 million, and the three-month period to December 31st 2022 it was $25.32 million.

Nilesat reported revenues of $51.19 million compared to $50.15 million for the same period in 2022 and a net income of $19.304 million compared to $18.706 million for the 2022 half-year, recording a 3.2 per cent year-on-year increase.
