Report: AR/VR start-up valuations $45bn

Despite early stage virtual reality market and augmented reality market valuations softening in a transitional period, total global AR/VR start-up valuations are now at $45 billion (€40.5bn) globally (over $67 billion including non-pure play AR/VR start-ups discussed below). More than $8 billion of this figure has been returned to investors through M&A already, with the remaining augmented and virtual reality start-ups carrying over $36 billion valuations on paper.
