Spain: Orange revenues flat; pay-TV subs up 10%

Orange Spain has reported flat revenues for the first quarter, reaching €1.32 billion, up just 0.4 per cent year on year.
Orange ended the quarter with a total of 20.3 million customers – out of which 16.1 million are mobile telephony customers and 4.13 million fixed broadband subscribers. Some 84 per cent of the latter enjoy convergent services with almost 3 million fibre optic customers, up 23.4 per cent. Orange FTTH’s coverage reaches 14.1 million, up 15.2 per cent.
Orange increased its pay-TV subscriptions by 10 per cent to 705,000 versus 641,000 the same period last year.
