Croatian telecommunications operator Iskon has introduced the Iskon.TV Player which enables reception of TV channels on PCs, as well as on mobile devices connected to the Internet via WiFi or the T-Mobile 3G network, such as the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Android devices.
During the test phase, a total of six TV channels will be available: national broadcasters HRT 1, HRT 2 and RTL Televizija, as well as thematic channels 24 Sata, Croatian Music Channel (CMC) and Baby TV.
The Iskon.TV player has been developed in-house by Iskon, which is part of the T-Hrvatski Telekom (T-HT) Group. It can be used simultaneously on a mobile device and another computer, within Croatia, and is available to all Iskon.TV subscribers.
Via the Iskon.TV Player, users can also access an Electronic Programme Guide, a VOD service, as well as the digital video recording function.
The activation and use of the new service during the test period, lasting until May 2nd, will be free.
