Virgin Media has confirmed the appointment of Nigel Gilbert to the newly created role of Chief Marketing Officer.  He will join Virgin Media in January.

Gilbert has held a number of senior management positions in Marketing and Advertising – most recently as Group Marketing Director and Member of the Retail Board for Lloyds Banking Group. Prior to that he was Chairman and CEO of Asia Pacific and Global Account Director for Lowe Worldwide.
