Channel 4 unveils Channel 4.0 summer slate

July 10, 2026

Channel 4 has unveiled its summer slate for digital entertainment channel Channel 4.0, with orders for four production companies to deliver two new original programme commissions and returning favourites.

Dropping on C4.0 this summer is a new Nella Rose-fronted series, Are They a Keeper?, and The Chosen One which is an evolution of the popular Channel 4.0 show The Intern.

Are They a Keeper? is a new format which sees Rose play agony auntie to people who can’t trust their own judgement when it comes to love. The star will date the person’s partner or situationship, to help identify what possibly is the problem.

The Chosen One is an adaptation of Cowshed Collective’s The Intern which saw aspiring creators’ interview with four of C4.0’s famous faces for a unique chance to work on a production shoot. Again, produced by Cowshed Collective, this new series sees a talented celeb from music, comedy, sport or other creative mediums interview 20 amateurs alongside a panel of C4.0 creators to help find the next upcoming star.

After two successful pilots, Channel 4.0 has ordered more episodes of Kids Table and Dating Dad from two Welsh production companies; Nimble Productions and Crash Productions, supported by Media Cymru via 4Skills.

Kids Table, produced by Nimble Productions, returns with two new episodes that see a C4.0 creator take on an auntie from the same heritage in a cultural cooking showdown. Featuring Whitney Adebayo and Konan, each creator must prepare a dish that represents their shared culture and prove they can rival a home-cooking expert.

Hopeful singles Max Khadar and Brazavilleee are on the lookout for love in two episodes of Dating Dad, but this Crash Productions format turns the traditional dating show on its head. Before meeting a potential date, the creators must first get to know – and impress – their dads. Over a series of rounds, the stars must question, date and eliminate the fathers one by one until they find their final romantic match.

Channel 4.0 has also recommissioned another 20 episodes of Savage Sundays from After Party Studios. This sees the return of fan-favourite formats Find The and Cooked, alongside new additions including Career Report – a mischievous interview format in which a savage kid armed with a dossier takes a deep dive into the career of a celebrity.

Head of Digital Commissioning for Channel 4, Laura Marks commented: “Channel 4.0 turns four this year and what better way to kick start the celebrations then giving our audience a summer to remember – jam packed with new formats and returning stars.”

Digital Commissioning Editor and Interim Channel 4.0 Commissioning Lead, Kaio Grizzelle said: “Viewers will be excited to see the familiar C4.0 faces at their best but getting up to new antics. We continue to build out a portfolio of iconic programmes the fans adore with some amazing indies making noisy and high-quality content in the digital space.”

Digital Commissioning Editor, Catriona White added: “It’s a privilege to work with such creative production companies for Channel 4.0 and continue to bring new shows to our growing audience.”

The summer slate will premiere this July on Channel 4.0 YouTube channel, TikTok and Meta platforms.
