BBC to air Calvin Harris: Live from Scotland

The BBC and Sony Music Vision will join Scottish DJ and producer Calvin Harris at Hampden Park on August 1st, bringing his anticipated homecoming show to audiences across the UK. The live performance will be broadcast exclusively on BBC One, BBC iPlayer, BBC Radio 1, Radio 1 Dance and BBC Sounds, with coverage produced by BBC Studios Music Productions.

Taking to the stage at one of Scotland’s biggest stadiums, Harris will deliver a career-spanning set with big budget production. Ahead of the main event, viewers can also watch an evening of dance music on BBC iPlayer from 6.30pm, featuring highlights from Radio 1 in Ibiza the night before and building anticipation for Calvin Harris’ landmark Glasgow performance.

Harris commented: “Coming back to Scotland to headline two dates at Hampden Park is a huge moment for me. I’m excited to play live in front of a home crowd and amazing to be partnering with the BBC and Sony Music Vision on the Saturday show.”

Calvin Harris: Live from Scotland forms part of the BBC’s Summer of Music 2026, bringing audiences a season of live performances that also includes include performances from Charli xcx and Sam Smith.
