WNBA tipping off 30th season on Sky Sports

The WNBA returns to Sky Sports this weekend with the league entering a landmark 30th season.
For the 2026/27 aseason, the league has expanded from 13 to 15 teams with the addition of the Portland Fire and Toronto Tempo, first announced in 2024. This follows the addition of the Golden State Valkyries in 2025.
As part of an 11-year rights deal in the UK and Ireland which includes the NBA, Sky Sports will show 70+ games of the 2026/27 season. Following a historic 2025 season highlighted by A’ja Wilson’s MVP and the Las Vegas Aces’ third WNBA title in four years; this season is set to be more competitive than ever.
Coverage begins at 10:30pm (BST) on May 10th, with the Los Angeles Sparks hosting the Las Vegas Aces at Crypto.com Arena.
