MPG Media Services partners with Rakuten TV Enterprise
May 5, 2026
MPG Media Services, part of MPG Media Group, has announced a partnership with Rakuten TV Enterprise, Rakuten TV’s B2B division.
“The partnership with Rakuten TV Enterprise is one of mutual-value creation whereby our two companies will work synergistically to identify and work with an even broader array of clients across the streaming media space,” commented Natalie Boot, MPG Media Services CCO. “MPG’s hybrid (broadcast and/or OTT) streaming platform and play-out technology will leverage Rakuten TV Enterprise established network of connector feeds with multiple FAST platforms across Europe, opening new business opportunities in markets outside MPG’s established footprint.”
The partnership currently covers a package of 22 channels to be re-streamed by Rakuten Enterprise, which are ready to be delivered to various platforms with Rakuten TV. Twelve of the channels will launch this May.
The company is also announcing that MPG Media Services, FilmPartners, and Your Channels are partnering under the MPG Media Group umbrella. The complementary media companies will support each other in content creation facilitation, management, distribution, and monetisation. The production process will be managed within Film Partners, the playout and technology services by MPG Media Services, and complete FAST services managed by Your Channels; thus providing innovative, end-to-end media solutions to clients.
“With the strong alliance in place and capital influx from our private investors within the Group, we have doubled down on our commitment to innovation, proprietary software development, sustainable technologies, AI, and efficient workflows. Our new branding as MPG Media Services reflects our consolidated efforts across all our media partners in our alliance,” notes Marvin Kooij, Co-owner/ CEO of MPG Media Services.
