Major named Director of Channels at SPI International

SPI International has announced the appointment of Bartłomiej Major as Director of Channels. In his new role, Major will be responsible for programming strategy and channels’ development, as well as strengthening collaboration across teams. His responsibilities will include shaping and implementing the strategy for all TV channels within SPI International’s portfolio, including Kino Polska, Zoom TV, Stopklatka, FilmBox-branded channels, and DIZI.
Major will also work closely with Canal+ group entities to support the development of Canal+ operations in the Benelux countries and Central Europe.
“With his extensive experience, deep understanding of the media industry, and knowledge gained over the years, Bartek will play a key role in driving our programming strategy and channels growth. I am confident that his expertise and fresh perspective will help us strengthen SPI International’s position and better meet the needs of viewers and business partners,” commented said Erwan Luherne, Managing Director at SPI International.
Before joining SPI International, Major served as Programming Director at Hearst Networks in Poland and the Central and Eastern Europe region. Previously, he built his expertise at the Amsterdam and Warsaw branches of Fox Networks Group and MTV Networks Poland, among others.
