Samsung is launching The Movingstyle – a portable 27” QHD touchscreen that features an integrated handle, allowing users to move it around their home.
The Movingstyle comes with both a soft-wheeled floor stand and an integrated kick-stand that allows the screen to detach in a single motion, instantly becoming a self-supporting display without extra accessories. With a built-in battery that supports up to three hours of unplugged viewing, The Movingstyle gives users the freedom to take their entertainment, play or work anywhere in their home,
The display can also switch seamlessly between landscape and portrait modes, so users can enjoy both horizontal and vertical content in their optimal forms and with minimal lag and blurring thanks to its 120hz refresh rate. With the integrated Samsung Gaming Hub, users are also able to seamlessly connect wireless controllers and access the latest games from streaming services such as Xbox.
The Movingstyle comes with some of Samsung’s elevated audio features including Dolby Atmos, Object Tracking Sound Lite and Q-Symphony, Adaptive Sound Pro and Active Voice Amplifier Pro, bringing the sound of the cinema anywhere in the home.
The Movingstyle is also a Smart TV powered by Samsung’s Tizen OS with users able to access their favourite apps including Netflix, Disney+ and YouTube as well as a library of TV shows and movies in the Samsung TV Plus app.
Even when the Smart TV is off, users can stay informed through the daily Now Brief which can be customised with useful widgets like Weather, Music, Memos and more. The Now Brief can ‘wake up’ hands-free with voice activation, delivering info when its needed.
Finally, the Movingstyle features Sketch Now, the whiteboard app where users can use their fingers to sketch, write and create, turning the display into a canvas for everyone in the home.
The Movingstyle has a RRP £1,199 and will be available in John Lewis and via Samsung this December.
