Rainbow hires Mologni as Head of Acquisition & Channel Strategy

Rainbow Group, a specialist in the entertainment industry, is strengthening its international expansion with the appointment of Chiara Mologni as Head of Acquisition & Channel Strategy.
Mologni will be responsible for shaping Rainbow’s global content strategy and driving the launch of new multi-platform TV channels. With more than twenty years of experience across the media, film and digital distribution sectors, she brings extensive expertise in content acquisition, rights management and platform development. She will focus on building a cohesive content ecosystem that blends Rainbow’s original productions with strategic third party acquisitions, spanning genres from live action to animation.

Chiara Mologni, who in her new role will report to Azzani, began her career at Gruppo RCS, working in editorial marketing before moving into film, home entertainment and digital distribution. Since 2010, she has worked in the field of film, home entertainment, and digital distribution, taking on various roles in the commercialisation of TV and digital rights. At Plaion Pictures, where she served as Digital & TV Sales Director for the Italian division, she contributed to the launch of successful channels across SVoD, AVoD and FAST platforms.
