Mediapro has equipped the Spanish Ice Sports Federation (RFEDH) with its AI-driven automated production technology. The group has upgraded nearly a dozen ice rinks with new 4K systems that enhance image quality and expand functionality – taking another step forward in the digitalisation of sports in Spain.

The tech upgrade has enabled the launch of FEDHielo TV, a new OTT platform resulting from an agreement with Sportway, the company managing the federation’s audiovisual rights and already collaborating with sports federations in countries such as Sweden, Finland and Belgium. FEDHielo TV allows fans to enjoy Spanish ice hockcy content, offering HD broadcasts via a user-friendly platform.

Mediapro has completed the renewal and upgrade from Full HD to 4K equipment for the RFEDH ice rinks in Valdemoro, Majadahonda, and Madrid (Community of Madrid); Logroño (La Rioja); Puigcerdà (Catalonia); Huarte (Navarre); Txuri Urdin (Basque Country); and soon, FC Barcelona’s rink. The group will also provide maintenance services throughout the 2025/26 season.
