October 8, 2025

A global audience of millions tuned in to watch the French-trained Daryz claim victory in the 104th edition of the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe on October 5th.  The event’s worldwide reach was amplified by coverage across 35 international media outlets, reaffirming the appeal of one of Europe’s most prestigious horse races.

Spearheaded by HBA Media in collaboration with France Galop, the Arc’s international audience has tripled over the past four years.

The 2025 running at ParisLongchamp formed a flagship element of the Crown Jewels Racing (CJR) broadcast portfolio – a curated collection of 20 of the world’s most iconic races – and featured two major broadcast offerings designed to engage racing fans across continents.

  • CJR60 – a one-hour live magazine-style show presented by Tom Stanley and Frankie Foster, blending racing action, lifestyle features, and in-depth interviews, with race coverage provided by Equidia.
  • A five-hour enhanced World Feed, covering the Arc and a full supporting card that includes five Group 1 races.

For France, M6 were onsite for a bespoke broadcast around the €5,000,000 feature race, with Equidia supplementing domestic coverage.

UK viewership received a significant lift as the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe made its return to ITV1, attracting a peak audience of 574,000 and a 5.1 per cent share. The dedicated broadcast averaged just under 400,000 viewers, with coverage led by Ed Chamberlin and Francesca Cumani from Ascot and Oli Bell reporting live from ParisLongchamp.

Sky Sports Racing also provided comprehensive live coverage of the full raceday, complemented by BBC Radio 5 Live’s extensive audio broadcast.
