September 22, 2025
BIG Media, the global production company, distributor and channel provider, has locked in sales for multiple series with Canada’s leading entertainment companies: Corus Entertainment and Bell Media. The announcement was made by BIG Media co-founder and President Danny Wilk.
Corus has acquired season 3 of Renovation Hunters (10 x 30’) and the upcoming season 4, which is currently in production. Hosted by hunter and outdoorsman Hal Shaffer, this unique take on the home improvement genre features a talented crew of renovation experts from across the U.S. as they bring their passion for craftsmanship and the outdoor lifestyle to transform family camps in just one week. They tackle challenges, overcome mishaps, and bring new life to beloved spaces, ensuring they remain the heart of family memories for years to come. The series will premiere on Corus’ Home Network later this year.
Bell Media has licensed the first and third seasons of BIG Media’s global hit format Destruction Decoded (14 x 60’) and season 1 of the spin-off series, Danger Decoded (10 x 60’). Destruction Decoded explores life-altering, earth-shattering, unforgettable events using a combination of carefully selected archive, cutting edge CGI, and informative scripting, while Danger Decoded takes viewers on a quest to discover some of the world’s most-dangerous places. Both ‘Decoded’ series are co-productions with RMC Story (France).
In addition, Bell Media has acquired the newest season (season 14) of the popular crime/ride-along series Wardens (13 x 30’), which chronicles the lives of Conservation Officers in America. The show features the men and women who protect public lands as they go from interstate game checks and anti-poaching sting operations to remote snowmobile trails in grizzly bear country and navigating unforgiving white-water rapids. Wardens will air on Bell Media’s CTV Wild, Canada’s most-watched broadcaster.
