Hemisphere signs agreement with RTVD

Hemisphere Media Group (HMG), the US multi-platform media company serving the high-growth US Hispanic and Latin American markets, today announced a multi-year content agreement with Radio Televisión Dominicana (RTVD), the public broadcasting service in the Dominican Republic. Through this new partnership, Televisión Dominicana, Hemisphere’s flagship network serving the Dominican community in the US and Puerto Rico, will now feature nearly 30 hours per week of some of the most popular and culturally resonant programming from the Dominican Republic.
The new slate of programming includes a lineup of top-rated shows that aim to reflect the voice, energy, and identity of the Dominican people, from trusted news and sports analysis to late-night comedy and award-winning children’s content.
The lineup includes the following programmes now available on Televisión Dominicana:
- El Mangú de la Mañana – A daily morning show that informs, entertains, and inspires. The program features live interviews, in-depth reporting, and segments highlighting education, culture, and current events.
- Central Deportes – A sports magazine that delivers compelling stories from across the athletic world, with expert analysis and human-interest perspectives that resonate deeply with fans.
- Luna Llena – A fresh and ever-evolving late-night variety show offering comedy, cultural commentary, celebrity interviews, and surprise segments every evening.
- Topitok – An award-winning, educational children’s program that blends fun, learning, and values through creative segments like Laboritok, Notitok, and musical performances. Topitok was named Best Children’s Programme at the 2025 Premios Soberano.

In addition to variety and news programs, the network holds exclusive U.S. broadcast rights to the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM), live special events, and weekly movie blocks showcasing Caribbean cinema.
