The Masai Mara returns to WildEarth

The Masai Mara is returning to WildEarth. From September 2nd, WildEarth will be broadcasting a Mara feed into the SafariLIVE Sunset and Sunrise shows. Then, from October 1st, this will expand this to two feeds with a new show called MaraLIVE offering an exclusive hour of Mara content after the sunrise safari and before the sunset safari.

The Masai Mara offers phenomenal widlife and scenery all year round. During the green season (November to June), lion prides hunt the marshes and kopjes, harassed by clans of spotted hyena. The iconic savannas are dotted with Masai giraffe, elephant, topi, gazelle, impala, defassa waterbuck and buffalo and black rhino. Every vista in the Mara is bursting with life. The Great Wildebeest Migration arrives around July, offering yet more variation, adventure and wonder to the landscape, More than 1.5 million animals descend on Mara in search of grazing. This is a carnival of abundance like no other on Earth – and the predators are equally excited by it.

The return of the Mara will be spearheaded by WildEarth veteran and Mara expert, David Githu. WildEarth is working with the Narok County Government to bring viewers this year-round festival of wildlife wonder. The iconic Governor’s Camp who will host the first crew in the Mara.
