Yahoo Finance launches live UK show

Yahoo Finance is expanding its footprint with a new editorial team and studio in London, extended hours of programming, and a partnership with Blue Ocean Technologies that will allow the company to offer round-the-clock financial market data.
Launching on June 30th, Yahoo Finance will debut Morning Brief: Market Sunrise, a daily live show streaming from the London-based studio at midday BST. Anchored by veteran business correspondent Ramzan Karmali, formerly of Reuters, the show will provide a look at global markets and US futures, along with newsmaking interviews and signature analysis that Yahoo Finance. Morning Brief: Market Sunrise will be the company’s first live show produced outside of the US.
At the heart of this market coverage expansion is a new programming model: offering live and on-demand content five days a week, around the clock. With the addition of the new show, the revamped market day programming will span from midday to midnight (BST) daily, with a new cadence of pre-market insights, mid-day updates, after-hours context, and correspondents reporting live from major financial centres including the NYSE, NASDAQ, and now steps from the London Stock Exchange.

As part of this transformation, Yahoo Finance is also expanding its market coverage by offering 24-hour pricing updates for U.S stocks and ETFs, in partnership with Blue Ocean Technologies.
