Bluey taking over Fruit Ninja Classic+ inn Apple Arcade crossover event
June 5, 2025
BBC Studios has announced that Bluey is expanding its gaming footprint further and taking over Fruit Ninja Classic+ with a special, limited-time Apple Arcade crossover event.
Beginning June 19th, Bluey, Bingo, Mum and Dad are coming to Fruit Ninja Classic+ for the first time for a special crossover experience, exclusively on Apple Arcade – Apple’s game subscription service that offers unlimited access to more than 200 games.
The Bluey takeover brings four fun-filled events – Featherwand, Sticky Gecko, Asparagus, and Fruit Salad – rolling out from June through August. Whether you’re playing with Bingo and her Featherwand or helping Bluey catch Gecky off the ceiling, each event brings plenty of adventures and exclusive rewards for players of all ages to enjoy.
Halfbrick Studios, the creators of the iconic Fruit Ninja game, are based in Brisbane, Australia – which is also the home of Bluey!
Joe Brumm, Creator of Bluey, saied: “Bluey and Fruit Ninja are both born and bred in Brisbane, and I’ve been friends with the Halfbrick legends for ages. This project is really special, and it’s a joy to be working together.”
Bluey x Fruit Ninja Classic+ launches exclusively on Apple Arcade from June 19th and runs through August 13th.
This is the latest initiative in BBC Studios’ 2025 brand theme for Bluey, ‘Let’s Play Chef’.
